Things to remember
Please arrive between 8:30am and 9:00am on the 13th Jul at
Beacon Plus Education Centre Unit A & B, 3/F Max Share Centre, No.373,
King’s Road, North Point, Hong Kong
* 5-minute walk from North Point MTR Station Exit B
We will do doing last minute registrations and other admin functions
Please bring basic stationaries, personal IPAD or laptop for taking notes and profect research.
ICEBREAKER.
Think of your favourite formula or fact in maths or physics.Imagine you meet a highly intelligent person who has never studied maths or physics.- how would you explain your fact/formula to them?- how would you help them understand how exciting and important your fact/formula is?Write down what you would say in no more than 300 words.
Note: Do not use AI for this exercise. The purpose is to practice using your own words to describe complex mathematical ideas in a way that is understandable to others.
Once you have written your own version, you may like to use AI to produce a second answer and to compare the AI answer to your own.
Student maybe asked to described why it means something to them and introduce themselves.
